I just got the link from a friend. It is called as "7 Levels of Photographers". You may mention it as "the magnificent 7" by the famous movie, heuhehe. Again, it is another Ken Rockwell well-written thought.

The posting boasted a very interesting writing, even though the grading used was somewhat intriguing; if not confusing. Try to apply it to you and people around you with a camera attached to them.

For instance, I always give my concern the most about the memory left behind from virtually every single second living under the sun and the stars. Interested in capturing the moments rather than being dizzied by all the fuzz and buzz of all photography techniques and equipment and terminologies. Or couldn’t be care less in facing some dogmatic organizations, well-known websites (and blogs), the so called branded camera users who takes pride in the expense of their pricey sophisticated nice lenses and things.

Then, if we refer such behavior of me to the article posted, means that I could be categorized as a “snap-shooter” which is actually totally okay. But further, being associated to such medium level of "4", is totally exaggerating my skills, hehehe.. And to which I thought, is definitely inappropriate *grin

Of course, I still found Rockwell's article is very good, and that's why I'd like to share it here with you all, guys.

Now, what level of photographer are you?

LinkWhich Camera? -- Nikon vs. CanonMar 24, '08 7:03 AM

This link is highly useful for those of you who eternally arguing to each other about which one is better; whether it is a Nikon or a Canon (camera). Or at least it could do any good when you want to buy your new (D)SLR and ended up between those two choices without having the real clue which is which. In short, for they who got lost in translation.*grin

The writer is just simply a pro, an independent one. And most importantly, he's did not attached whatsoever to one of the companies nor getting any benefits. Well, one can say that he could claim anything that we dont know. But if you read through the article, you could ended up with the same conclusion.

This guy is just plain honest, tried the best he could to cover up both stories, and put everything he knows in written.

Kalau perlu, 2 (dua) jempol sekaligus deh, hehe..

Bahkan kreativitas nya ini udah diakuin oleh Majalah Tempo dalam bentuk gelar (semacam) Person of the Year nya. You deserve it, man! Tapi tetap, BatMus No.1!
